A modern farm and “shuck yourself” raw bar built on 135-year-old maritime history.

Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market embodies a modern approach to oyster culture and community in the Peconic Bay. Their story centers around a little bait & tackle shack in the heart of Greenport Village, which has seen a fair share of time and tides. As Greenport took its place as one of the great seafood producing hubs of the world, the shack supported legions of shuckers, rumrunners, and sport fishermen. Once the great brown tides of the 80’s laid waste to the last of the working waterfront, the old bait shop was left abandoned. Today, the newly restored shack has become the heart and soul of Little Creek and the community’s living room.

The space is always programmed with a wide range of events. Community and educational outreach programs, screenings, talks and more. Tasting activities include pairings with local wineries, brewries, sake, and regional oyster comparisons.
